We are holding a two day training workshop on


Subject          : Basic Counselling Skills

Dates              : February 12-13, 2014 (10 am to 5 pm)

Venue            : Avabai Wadia Health Centre, FPA India, 1st floor, Radhika          Residency, Mahatma Phule Nagar, Tilak Nagar West,

Medium         : Hindi and English


This course is an introduction to anyone interested in finding out more about counselling and its related aspects. It will help health care providers to help the clients cope with ‘stress’ through using counselling skills. There is adequate time allotted for hands-on counselling experience.


The topics covered in this workshop include:

-          Counselling micro skills

-          Values and Attitudes of a counsellor

-          Stages and Process of Counselling

-          Overview of Types of Counselling (Sexuality Counselling, STI & HIV Counselling)
