This winter morning trail should introduce you to butterflies like Lemon, Chocolate and Peacock Pansy, and Great Orange Tip and birds like Crimson, Purple, and Loten’s Sunbirds, Common Iora, Grey Junglefowl and mammals like Spotted and Sambar Deer. The trail leads through fine forest dominated by bamboo and ends at the first stream.
Reporting: Members to meet at the Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) main gate at 7.30 a.m.
How to get there: One can either take a rickshaw from Borivali (E) railway station or walk down to the main gate of SGNP located on the WE highway.
