Thane side of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park has a rich forest. Good place to spot birds like the Greater Coucal, Racket-tailed Drongo, White-browed Bulbul, Purple Sunbird, White-checked Barbet, Indian Blackbird, Golden-fronted leafbird and many more. 

Reporting: Tea Stall at Last Bus stop Patvana Pada at 7.30 a.m.

How to get there: Catch TMT bus from Thane station to Yeoor, Patvana Pada and get down at the last stop (Patvana Pada). Buses are available at an interval of 15-20 minutes from Thane (W) railway station.
