The British Council and Abhinav Bindra Foundation, in partnership with Special Olympics Bharat and FICCI invite schools across India to take part in the British Council Youth Leadership through Sport Camp 2012. The residential camp to be held from 23-26 February in Delhi will provide yet another unique opportunity to 250 students and 50 teachers to take part in some of the most exciting workshops, practical activities and discussions culminating in setting up of Sport Leadership Clubs in the schools.

Who can participate?
The camp is open to ALL schools across India. We encourage schools that have participated in other British Council school programmes to apply. Each school should nominate 3 students and 1 teacher according to the following criteria:

The participants should plan to reach Delhi on 23 February (evening) and plan their return travel for the evening of 26 February. All schools will have to make their own travel arrangements.
Accommodation and all meals will be provided by the British Council.
How to participate?
The participation fee is INR 5000 per school. Further instructions about payment of the fee will be communicated to the schools that are selected for the camp.
Schools interested in participating in the camp should complete the online Application Form (http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/WEB22E9M5KTWMU) and send it by 24 January 2012.
An email will be sent to the schools that are selected for the camp. Participating schools will receive further details and joining instructions after the payment of the camp fee.
Please note: Schools planning to arrange for train travel for their participants should ideally book the tickets at the time of completing the application form. In case the school is not selected, train tickets can be cancelled without much difficulty or financial loss.
