A touring exhibition of Kalighat paintings from the collections of the Victoria and Albert museum in London and the Victoria Memorial Hall in Kolkata. Known for their distinct and vibrant imagery of Hindu gods and goddesses, Kalighat paintings get their name from the locality in which they were made – the area in Kolkata that houses a famous Kali temple and is thus called Kalighat.

16 February - 30 March : Salar Jung Museum, Hyderabad

Entry is free.
