ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Oil painting was one of the first mediums to be used but did not gain its popularity till the 15th century. In recent times it has become immensely popular and has become a medium that many want to learn.

Following the successful basic workshop last month, this will be a progressive session where Javed will teach students few techniques for beginners to get acquainted with oil painting.

ABOUT THE TEACHER (JAVED MULANI)
After finishing his Masters in Fine Arts from J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, Javed has been working as an art teacher at Singapore International school, Dahisar and a Lecturer at Academy of fine Arts & Craft, Rachana Sansad, Mumbai.

Javed has won a number of awards and participated in manynational and international art exhibitions and camps. He had his first solo exhibition at Jahengir Art Gallery in 2008.

BENEFITS FOR THE ATTENDEE
Students will learn the basics of handing oil paints and how to use it on a canvas. They will be taken through the process of the different techniques to form the base for oil painting.
