Huzannah Banajee Joseph of Paw Pals has been growing increasingly concerned with the high number of dog bites in our country. She decided to do something about it, by introducing a program for children on dog bite prevention and safety.
The 'Be a Tree' Program has been created by Doggone Safe, Canada (www.doggonesafe.com) to empower children to deal safely with dogs, and increase awareness about dog body language, thereby reducing the risk of dog bites.
This program is currently being run in many different countries. The International Dog Bite Prevention Challenge is going to be run internationally through the months of April, May and June, and this is the first time that this program will be available to children in India.
As part of the International Bite Prevention Challenge 2013, Paw Pals will offer the 'Be a Tree' program free of charge to children between the ages of 5 and 12 years via schools and community groups, during the months of April, May and June.
Contact Paw Pals at email@example.com or at +919823129066 for details of the program and to register your school/ community group.
