'Celebrate the rich diversity of our seeds and bio-cultural heritage’

Visit Seed Diversity Exhibition, Interact with Seed Savers, Enjoy the Bastar Tribal Dance, Song & Music, Books, Films, Talks, Discussions and much more  
from February 19 to 21, 2012 (9 am to 7 pm), 
at Janata Kendra, near Mumbai Central Station (W), Tulsiwadi, Tardeo (main venue for all 3 days)

> Parallel events at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS); Indian Institute of Technology (IIT); Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS)
> The Horn Maria Tribal Dance performance at different places across Mumbai 

The Seed Festival - first of its kind in Mumbai - brings together groups from seven states across India, working for conservation and promotion of seed diversity. It celebrates our collective bio-cultural heritage – evolved, preserved and shared by the indigenous people and farming communities of India. It also creates public awareness & policy support to conserve the seed diversity which is under major threat. This affects, all so do join & support!

- volunteer your assistance and the date/s and time you can be present. A volunteer meet is scheduled on Sun 12th Feb 2012 at 2.30 PM at Janta Kendra near Mumbai Central Station (west), Tulsiwadi, Tardeo 
- provide any financial contribution to help meet the costs of organising events for the festival
- help publicise the festival amongst your residence colonies/ work place/ school/ colleges/ shops/ any other community spaces by display & distribution of the printed Posters, Brochures & Flyers
- organise the tribal dance performance at your/known event happening during the festival dates
