Video Volunteers and our new partner PACS are thrilled to invite you to an event this Saturday, exploring how social change campaigns are transformed by community-based change narrators. Please join us for a film screening and a photo exhibit, as well as interactions with Community Correspondents.

For the opening plenary, The VV and PACS teams will be joined by the following esteemed journalists.

Mainstream Media and the other India in the Context of Social and Community Media

Vinod Mehta, editorial chairperson Outlook Group; Paranjoy Guha Thakurta independent journalist, media commentator and author; Neelabh Mishra, editor Outlook Hindi; Pamela Philipose columnist and leader of Women’s Feature Service; Stalin K,  director Video Volunteers

Moderated by Parvinder Singh, Head of Advocacy and Communication, PACS

The program will also include a film screening of Change Whisperers (2:30-2:45) and Breaking Margins, a multi-media exhibition (4:15)
