This unique initiative by Rage Productions in collaboration with the Royal Court presents 3 selected productions from the 12 brand new plays developed by the project.

Plays:

17th February: SPUNK

120 mins (strictly for 18 year olds and above) at 3.30pm, English

Brijesh Arora has a gift. His body produces special semen.  Now whether this is a miracle or not, depends on your point of view. For Brijesh, it could keep him going till fame and fortune comes calling. For Rhea, it could help her maintain the custody of her daughter. But for Anjali, it could be much, much more.

18th February:  Pereira's Bakery at 76 Chapel Road:

105 mins (also at 3.30 pm), English

“This place is not just an address to us. It is all that we have... All that we are.”

Vincent Pereira, takes on developers who want to demolish his chawl to make way for Asia’s biggest shopping mall. Along with his daughter and a motley collection of neighbours, he embarks on a campaign to save his home and his livelihood. As the pressure mounts, minds are changed and trusts are broken, but Vincent is determined to protect his world from crumbling down around him. 

A bittersweet comedy about loyalty and staying true to who you are.

19th February: MAHUA

120 mins (strictly for 18 year olds and above), Hindi (also at 3.30 pm)

Birsa shot a man through the arse - not his fault.  Gilli violently abused all the men folk - not her fault.  Daadi resigned from the post of Sarpanch - not her fault.  Bibal resolved to leave his village - not his fault. 

So who is to blame?
